Sitecore experience editor does not publish items are second level references, In order to prevent huge amount of items being published, for example if we have Callout and that Callout has children (lets assume they are links as subitems), if we update any children items in experience editor, like navigaiton title and click on publish, the child item will not published.Sitecore doesn't process references of references, so the DataSource item references are not being processed1 vote
